Ventures Arcade - This is the online website for our textbook. There is an activity for Lessons A-E of all 10 units.
Make sure when you get to the webpage that you follow these steps:
  1. Click on the your Level (B, 1, 2, 3, 4)
  2. Click on the Unit you want (1-10)
  3. Click on the Lesson A-E activity you want to do

Adele's ESL corner - Adele's ESL corner is a great website to practice grammar, especially for beginning students! The first page is for beginning learners, but there is a second page with exercises for intermediate learners here. 
FYI: The author of the website is from Australia, and there are some differences between American and Australian/British English spelling (like "color" - American and "colour" - Australian/British).
Also, make sure that your answers are spelled correctly and there are NO extra spaces or capital letters!  



Activities for ESL/EFL Students  - a website with lots of activities, exercises, and tests at multiple levels. There are also bilingual activities.

​Vocabulary

Learning Chocolate is an excellent website for vocabulary on a variety of subjects. All you need to do is click on a category and lesson to get started! Headphones or speakers are needed for listening exercises.

Language Guide is a great website to learn vocabulary. It is an online picture dictionary. Students can place there mouse over a picture to hear the word. There are also activities with each section.


​Reading

Reading Skills 4 Today is a website with an excellent articles and stories on a variety of subjects. The information may be a bit old, but it's a good way to be able to practice reading for your level.

Unite for Literacy has a collection of short online books for low-level readers. Some the books (particularly the science ones) are more challenging.

5 Minute English is a website with some short readings, and a lot of other activities for language learning (grammar, writing, etc.)

Story Corps is a website with stories from many different people in the U.S. and world. You can read or listen to the stories. The language can be challenging, but a great way to hear a variety of English speakers.

​Randall's ESL Cyber Listening Lab is a great website to listen to conversations about many different topics. Most conversations also have a short quiz and activities attached.

USA Learns is an app and website you can use to both practice English and study for the U.S. Citizenship exam! It is free to use, you just need to make an account.
America's Story from The Library of Congress is from the U.S. government where kids and adults can learn more about famous Americans and American history. May not work well on phones.
